Here are the firefighters of Mesachie Lake.  This department as well as Caycuse VFD, Honeymoon Bay VFD, Youbou VFD, Lake Cowichan VFD, Duncan VFD and the Cowichan Bay VFD all worked together to raise money for the fight against Muscular Dystrophy.  In the past 22 years these 7 Fire Departments have raised over $300,000 to fight this horrible disease.  WAY  TO  GO  FOLKS.
The total raised for the year 2001 is about $ 31,000 which is incredible.  A special thank you to all the departments who took part and helped spread out the workload
